The Tunisian women's junior volleyball team (U21) will fly to Mexico on Monday to take part in the Volleyball World U21 Championship, scheduled for August 14-26.
In the first round, the national team will face Italy, Brazil and the Dominican Republic in Group B.
Coach Mohamed Msalmani has called up 12 players to defend the Tunisian colours. They are Dhouha Entgazou, Hiba Fatnassi, Yasmine Salhi, Tasnim Beshikh, Sahar Jenhani, Ahlem Baazaoui, Sonia Ben Hmida, Salma Ben Mbarek, Nouha Chekili, Sondes Sassi, Alaa Essid and Molka Ben Youssef.
Tunisia had qualified for the World Championship for the third time in their history, after 1995 and 2011, by finishing second at the last African Championship in August 2022.
