Tunisian pavilion at Sheikh Zayed Festival November 17- March 9

A pavilion inspired by Sidi Bousaid architecture will be set up as part of Sheikh Zayed Festival, due to run from November 17, 2023 to March 9, 2024 at Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi. The pavilion will be placed under the sign "Tunisian cultural heritage - a multi-sensory experience." The Tunisian participation will offer an exceptional experience - a unique blend of cultural heritage and modernity - to enhance intercultural exchange and promote cultural tourism. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the diversity of Tunisian handicrafts and culinary arts through various events, mainly workshops and tasting sessions. Folk art and puppet shows, theatre performances and contemporary art exhibitions in addition to traditional costume fashion shows are on the agenda. The festival is named afer the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the United Arab Emirates, It is a world platform for cutural and civilisational exchange. It is scheduled to be held in Al Whatba, Abu Dhabi, home to a heritage village where participating countries will celebrate their cultures.
