Tunisia warns against “forced” displacement of Palestinians

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar on Monday held a phone talk with his counterpart of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn.

Ammar underlined on the occasion, the duty of all active international forces, particularly the European Union, to assume their political and moral responsibilities to impose an immediate halt to the attacks on the Gaza Strip.

The phone conversation was held at a time when Tunisia is exerting colossal diplomatic efforts to end the attacks against the Gaza Strip, according to a Foreign Ministry press release.

The FM pointed out in this regard, the need to "stop the orchestrated policy of murdering innocent children and infants," warning against any "forced" displacement of the Palestinian people.

He further stressed the need to ensure the delivery of urgent aid.
