Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, said that all upcoming elections, including the presidential elections, will be held on time. All conditions will be made available to guarantee the transparency and success of these elections, he said, Tuesday, in a recorded speech delivered during the High-level Segment of the 55th session of the UN Human Rights Council. Tunisia is determined to continue with its reforms launched since July 25, 2021 so as to establish a true democracy which enshrines rights and freedoms for all and meets the aspirations of the Tunisian people. The reform process was reinforced by the organization of legislative elections which resulted in the election of a new parliament as well as by the organization the local councils elections, over two rounds. The constitutional institutions will be complemented by the formation of the constitutional court, he said. The minister expressed Tunisia's determination to strengthen cooperation with UN bodies in the field of human rights as part of a constructive dialogue which respects the country's sovereignty and the principles of impartiality and objectivity, reads a statement the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
