The Ministry of Transport will support projects to establish communitarian companies in the transport sector and facilitate all relevant procedures, while drawing inspiration from those adopted in projects underway in other sectors, it said in a statement after a working session on Wednesday. Transport Minister Rabii Majidi, who chaired the session, stressed the need to ensure the sustainability and profitability of these companies. These companies should be able to achieve the expected objectives, particularly in terms of the continuity and regularity of the services provided, while taking into account their social aspects and the legal texts governing the sector, he said. The meeting provided an opportunity to examine the legal and financial aspects of setting up communitarian companies and to learn about the measures adopted in other sectors.
