Addis Ababa: A training organized for senior leaders of the ruling Prosperity Party (PP) was inaugurated by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, who is also President of the party. The training focuses on various national and current issues as well as on building leadership capacity. The training is being offered under the theme "Power of Dream for Progressive Development," according to information obtained from the party. It is believed to create a conducive environment vital to further build on the remarkable achievements that have so far been registered by PP in collaboration with the people and reach on shared consensus about the next steps to be carried out in various areas. Over 2,000 PP senior leaders drawn from across all regional states, the two city administrations, and federal institutions are attending the training that will last until September 25, 2024.
