Stock market remains in holding pattern Wednesday

The stock market remained largely stagnant on Wednesday. The Tunindex closed the day with a marginal increase of 0.04%, reaching 8481.9 points, with a trading volume of TND1.9 million, according to the daily analysis of broker "Tunisie Valeurs". In a rather unremarkable trading volume, MIP stood out. The share price rose by 3.9% to TND 0.530. At this level, the billboard specialist has posted a positive performance of 25% since the beginning of the year. With a turnover of TND 65,000, BIAT was one of the market's top gainers. The share of the private banker rose by 1.3% to 89,990 TND. On the downside, Tawasol Group Holding took the biggest hit. With minimal trading activity of TND 5,000, the holding company saw its shares plunge 3.6% to TND 0.540. BNA shares were among the session's biggest losers. On a trading volume of TND 156,000, the banking company's shares lost 1.9% to TND 7.110. Attijari Bank's stock was the most sought after during the session, mobilising capital worth TND 201,000. The private bank's share price remained stable at TND 42.500.
