Some 215 candidates in Medenine governorate kick off their election campaigns on Saturday, December 2, for the election of local councils, scheduled for December 24, 2023. These candidates, along with 31 candidates with disabilities, are vying for 93 seats on 9 local councils, 9 of which will be dedicated to candidates with disabilities. Out of the 93 constituencies in the region, 19 are each represented by a single candidate. However, 46 constituencies are each represented by two candidates.
