Several scientific, cultural and business events in the sector of building and public works were organised Thursday, as part of the 17th Mediterranean Building Exhibition MEDIBAT 2023.
The exhibition is organised by the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry (French: CCIS) on October 4-7.
One of the major side events was a scientific forum entitled "Science and Cities." It was attended by a large number of researchers, engineers, architects, urban planning experts and engineering students, as well as a number of representatives of participating delegations.
The exhibition fosters joint reflection on building and reconstruction by offering opportunities to exchange experiences and good practices and keeping abreast of the latest scientific and technological developments in the sector, CCIS Director General Hichem Elloumi told TAP.
