Road safety: 480 fatalities in first half of 2024 (ONSR)

Tunis: Over 2,180 traffic accidents in the period running from January 1 to June 2024 claimed 480 lives, data released by the National Observatory of Road Safety (ONSR) show. The number of people injured stands at 3,033. Driver distraction, lack of vigilance and excessive speed are the main causes.
