Prime Minister meets number of officials on last day of his participation in Davos Forum

On the last day of his participation in the 54th meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani met with Hilde Schwab, Chairperson and co-founder of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship. The meeting discussed the reality of cooperation with the Foundation in Tunisia, particularly in encouraging people to start projects. According to a statement from the Prime Ministry, Schwab expressed her foundation's great interest in Tunisia's progress in the field of social and solidarity economy and economic empowerment, noting her foundation's desire to plan activities in Tunisia in the coming period. On the other hand, Hachani held a meeting with the President of the Swiss Confederation, Viola Amherd, during which both sides appreciated the good level of bilateral relations, especially in the economic field and in cooperation for development, in addition to cooperation in the field of migration. The Prime Minister also raised the issue of looted and frozen funds in Switzerl and, stressing the priority Tunisia attaches to the recovery of these funds. For her part, the President of the Swiss Confederation stressed that her country shares with Tunisia the values of freedom, human rights and peace, as well as a multidimensional approach to the issue of migration. She also expressed her interest in the progress made by Tunisia in many economic indicators. The Prime Minister is leading the Tunisian delegation in the work of this forum, which was inaugurated last Monday in Davos. He is accompanied at this international event by Minister of Finance, Sihem Boughdiri Nemsia, and Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mounir Ben Rjiba.
