President Kais Saied stressed the need to increase the level of vigilance and attention during the period that Tunisia is going through, during a meeting on Monday at the Carthage Palace with Interior Minister Kamel Feki, Director General of National Security Mourad Saidane and Director General and Commander of the National Guard Hassine Gharbi. In this context, he praised the role played by the security units in securing the country with the support of the armed forces, according to a statement from the Presidency. The Head of State also praised the citizens' sense of responsibility in contributing to the fight against any threat to the country's security. On the other hand, the President of the Republic called for a further intensification of patrols in all regions of the Republic in order to combat all forms of crime, especially following the successful campaigns carried out by the security forces in the recent and ongoing period to track down criminals.
