President Saïed at bedside of wounded Palestinians in Tunisian hospitals [Upd 1]

President of the Republic Kais Saïed went on Sunday night to the bedside of Palestinians wounded in the Zionist aggression against Gaza and hospitalised in Tunisian public and private facilities. A military aircraft which departed from the Egyptian airport of El Arish with 39 Palastinians on board, including 29 wounded, landed on Sunday evening at Tunis-Carthage (pilgrims) airport. The Head of State commended efforts by the Palestinian healthcare personnel who showed resilience amid the catastrophic situation in Gaza. Saïed said all wounded Palestinians in Tunisian healthcare facilities will receive necessary care before going back to their country, the Presidency said. Another group of Palestinians who sustained injuries will arrive in Tunisia in the next two days. There is need to make the best conditions available for wounded Palestinians by means of helping them keep in touch with their families in Palestine and allow a student, among the wounded, to pursue their studies online. Most of these wounde d talked with the Head of State and expressed their gratefulness to Tunisia for providing them with the necessary care , while laying emphasis on the extent of damage caused by Zionist bombings which terrorised children, women and the elderly. Tunisia is unwaveringly committed to the Palestinian people until they recover their rights, Saïed highlighted. Palestine will be liberated soon, he added.
