President Kais Saied made an unannounced visit to the city of Ariana on Wednesday evening. The President of the Republic visited the city's market and its surroundings, where he listened to the concerns of a number of citizens. He then walked down Beirut Street to the last metro station, where he left the town of Ariana. The Municipality of Ariana had carried out a campaign on Sunday night to eliminate all manifestations of illegal street vending in the vicinity of the Municipal Market and the so-called "Libya Market" in the city of Ariana.
