President of the ruling Prosperity Party, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed urged the leaders to adopt more effective, service-driven leadership to foster Ethiopia's prosperity.
Abiy made the remark at the closing of a 12-day leadership capacity building training program organized for senior officials in Adama City of Oromia region.
The training was attended by over 2,000 senior officials drawn from the federal and regional states as well as city administrations.
The training held under the title "The Power of Dream for Progressive Development," equipped leaders with political, social, and economic tools to address Ethiopia's challenges.
The Premier stressed that leadership requires self-sacrifice and commitment. In this regard, Abiy stated that the training enabled the senior leaders to properly acquire the key principles and characteristics of leadership, which are essential for facilitating a speedy and expedited transformation.
Participants were urged to apply their new skills to ensure Ethiopia's prosperous future.
