Following these, many have accepted the peace call extended by the government while some have continued with their destructive activities, the premier noted. The premier said the government is making efforts to address the demands of the people in Amhara region noting that the people in the region have developm ental, constitutional reform and administrative boundary demarcation related questions. Most of the roads constructed in the region also interconnect zones with other zones, districts with districts, it was learned. Regarding the issue of constitutional amendment, he said a National Dialogue Commission has been established to deal with the matter as the question has been raised by others too. "Concerning the administrative boundary demarcation, the govern ment is committed to ensuring that this matter is settled through dialogue, aiming for resolution that ensures lasting peace. Engaging in conflict brings no benefits. It only exacerbates our present difficulties."
