Over 140,000 candidates to take Baccalaureate exams Wednesday.

Tunis: 140,213 candidates will be taking the written Baccalaureate Exams (The June 2024 Main Session) from June 5 to 12. The candidates are divided into 115,793 students registered in public high schools and 17,398 students enrolled in private high schools, in addition to 7,000 independent candidates. The "Economics and Management" major tops the lead with 46,377 candidates, followed by the "Sciences" major with more than 28,000 candidates, the "Arts" major with about 27,000 candidates. The "Physical Education" major is at the bottom of the ranking with 1,427 candidates. The Education Ministry has made available 586 Exam Centers, 28 Exam Correction centers, 27 Deposit Centers and 7 Collection Centers nationwide. 15 incarcerated students will also take the Baccalaureate Exams during the June 2024 Main Session. The results will be announced on June 25, and the Re-sit Session is scheduled for July 1, 2, 3 and 4, followed by the announcement of the results on July 14. The number of candidates for the 2024 B accalaureate Exams has increased by 2,305 candidates compared to the previous session.
