OIC: Burkina Faso reiterates its firm condemnation of Ukraine’s subversive actions in Mali and again calls on the Security Council

Burkinabe diplomacy reiterated Burkina Faso's firm condemnation of Ukraine's admitted subversive actions and once again called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities, Friday at the 50th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in Yaoundé, Cameroon. "Burkina Faso has reiterated its firm condemnation of Ukraine's attitude in making itself an accomplice of the terrorists in northern Mali through various forms of support," reported the communications service of the Burkinabe Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The head of Burkinabe diplomacy, Jean Marie Karamoko Traoré, "called on the United Nations Security Council to take its responsibilities and to take all necessary measures in the face of the deliberate and admitted subversive actions of Ukraine in the recent situation in northern Mali," the same source said. On August 21, 10 days ago, the foreign ministers of the Confederation of Sahel States called, in a joint letter, on the UN Security C ouncil to "take responsibility for Ukraine's deliberate choice to support terrorism", and this was addressed on Monday to the president of the said council. In a video related to fighting between the Malian army and terrorists based in northern Mali, the spokesman for Ukrainian intelligence, Andriy Yusov, admitted to having provided information to the CSP group fighters before their clashes with the Malian Armed Forces.
