National consultation on education reform: 321,944 participants on Nov.4

The number of participants in the national consultation on education reform reached 321,994 on November 4, updated figures provided by the platform (https://e-istichara.edu.tn/home) show. Female consultees outnumbered men with 168,253 against 153, 741. An additional 56, 615 people have participated in the consultation since October 10. The 41-65 age group reported the highest participation rate (26.4%), followed by the 12-15 age bracket (23.3%). The participation rate of 16 to 20- year-olds stood at 18.9%, while the 26-30 and 21-25 age brackets hit the bottom with 2.1% and 2.8%, respectively. The consultation, which will run till December 15, covers five main areas: early childhood education and family support; curricula, assessment systems and school time; bridges between education, vocational training and higher education systems; quality of education and digitisation; and equal opportunities and lifelong learning.
