The number of one-on-one interviews conducted by job seekers among people with disabilities who took part in the first edition of the job fair for people with disabilities reached almost 860, the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training on Thursday.
The ministry specified in a statement that some 300 girls with disabilities participated in the fair.
The programme included preparation for job interviews and training in life skills, coaching and CV writing.
Companies participating in the fair offered more than 600 jobs, the ministry said. An estimated 56 companies from the Greater Tunis, Bizerte and Sousse governorates participated in the fair. Companies in the industrial sector offered nearly 348 jobs, followed by companies in the information and communication technology sector with 118 job offers, and the rest were for various activities, the same source added.
