Loroum: Education stakeholders discuss the summary of educational activities

The High Commissioner of the province of Loroum, Djibril Bassolé, chaired, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in Ouahigouya, a meeting of education stakeholders from the province of Loroum relocated to Ouahigouya, on the resumption of educational activities in the province of Loroum. Presidents of the special delegations of the communes of Banh, Ouindigui, Sollé, and Titao, provincial directors, heads of departments in charge of education, educational supervisors, teachers and heads of associations active in charge of education, took part in the meeting on Tuesday , September 17, 2024 in Ouahigouya. The participants discussed the initiatives to be developed for an effective resumption of educational activities in the province of Loroum, particularly the town of Titao. At the end of the meeting, the education stakeholders handed over the sum of 127,500 CFA francs to the head of the province, to support and encourage the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP), engaged in the theater of operations i n Titao. The security situation in Loroum province deteriorated sharply in December 2021, leading to the relocation of state services, including education, to Ouahigouya.
