Tunisian wrestler Mohamed Ali Zorgui has qualified for the semi-finals of the wrestling competition in the 2nd African Beach Games JAP Hammamet 2023 (-70kg), after defeating Mauritius' John Kenneth Willbert LEOPOLD. Zorgui will meet Mohamed Ndong of Senegal in the semi-finals. In the women's event, Tunisia's Siwar Bousetta (-60kg) was eliminated in the first round after losing to Nigeria's Esther Omolayo KOLAWOLE. Tunisia's other representative in the 70kg category, Aya ICHAOUI lost to Ivorian Amy Youin.
