Moroccan karate player Slaheddine Mansouri scooped the gold medal on Sunday in the individual Karate Kata tournament of the 2nd African Beach Games JAP 2023 in Hammamet. The silver was won by Algerian Saber Ben Makhlouf, while the bronze went to Senegalese Omar Diop and South African Robert Simjesse. In the women's competition, the gold was bagged by Algerian Nermine Dalheb, the silver by Moroccan Eya Nsiri and the bronze by Namibian Suzelle Pronk and South African Maxime Willense.
