ICC Tunisian National Committee officially launched

The new Tunisian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) was officially launched on Friday in Tunis, said ICC Tunisia Vice-President Khelil Chaibi. Speaking at the launch conference, he explained that the creation of this committee (ICC TUNISIA) is a crucial step towards enhancing Tunisia's presence on the global scene, boosting trade and promoting foreign investment. "Through this initiative, we are affirming our commitment to supporting Tunisian companies in their quest for international expansion and development," he added. "The creation of ICC Tunisia is a historic achievement for Tunisia as it officially joins the CCI, an institutional organisation representing 45 million companies in more than 170 countries," Chaibi pointed out. Taking the floor, President of the Banking and Finance Council Nejib Ghandri underlined that the setting up of this national committee, which will contribute to Tunisia's economic development, is the fruit of hard work, productive collaboration and a shared determination to place the banking and financial sector at the service of economic and financial development. "Our financial institutions are not just capital intermediaries, but also drivers of innovation, advisers and support for risk managers, and facilitators of trade and investment," he explained. The launch conference was attended by Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce John Denton and Deputy Secretary General of the ICC Network Julian Kassum.
