General Kassoum Coulibaly, Minister of State, Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs, chaired this Friday, September 20, 2024, the graduation ceremony of 1,246 non-commissioned officers of the fiftieth class of Sergeants of the National School of Non-Commissioned Officers of the Gendarmerie, at the Ouezzin Coulibaly camp in Bobo-Dioulasso. With 1,246 gendarmes, the class includes 39 women and is called 'Espoir'. The head of the ENSOG corps, Squadron Leader Souleymane Coulibaly and the sponsor, Brigadier General Pingrenoma Zagré, Grand Chancellor of the Burkinabe Orders, urged them to serve with integrity, discipline and bravery, for "the homeland, the law and honor." The promotion, through the voice of its delegate, MDL Issaka Sawadogo, promised to defend the flag of Burkina Faso wherever duty calls them.
