Foreign Affairs points out need to hasten holding of Tunisian-Kuwaiti Economic Forum

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar on Sunday, pointed out the need to hasten the holding of the Tunisian-Kuwaiti Economic Forum.

Ammar also called for increasing visits' exchange between the economic delegations so as to build new Tunisian-Kuwaiti partnerships at the bilateral level and at the African and Mediterranean ones.

During a working session with Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Fahad Yaqoub Al-Jouan, Ammar underlined the competitive advantages of the Tunisian market and the importance of investment in promising sectors such as food safety, renewable energies, artificial intelligence and modern technologies.

Quoted in a press release issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs on Monday, Ammar underlined the need to harness the opportunities available to support trade between the two countries, stressing the importance of the Tunisian market for Kuwaiti businessmen as a gateway to European and African markets.

Al-Jouan for his part, expressed the Chamber's readiness to step up its cooperation with the relevant Tunisian authorities, reaffirming the Kuwaiti businessmen's willingness to further develop cooperation and communication ties with their Tunisian counterparts.
