CS Sfaxien booked their place in the final phase of the King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs, scheduled to run from July 27 to August 12 in Saudi Arabia, with a 2-0 victory over Al-Hilal of Sudan in the 2nd preliminary round, played on Friday at the Taieb Mhiri stadium in Sfax.
CSS's two goals came from Aziz Saihi in the 64th minute and Barakat Hmidi in the 88th.
In the first leg, the Sfaxians lost 0-1 at Radès stadium last Tuesday.
The CSS thus join the two other Tunisian representatives in the competition, who qualified directly, namely Esperance ST and US Monastir.
