The members of the technical committee of the Ziro provincial food security council held their first ordinary session on Thursday at the Sapouy high commission with a view to satisfying the indicators at the agricultural campaign level. The work was conducted by the provincial director of agriculture, animal and fisheries resources of Ziro, Souro Sanou. The picture of the food situation in the province of Ziro is quite satisfactory. This is the observation made by technicians from agriculture, health, social action, the environment and their development partners. Through presentations followed by discussions, the members of the technical committee assessed the current agricultural and pastoral campaign, the food situation of households, actions to support internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the situation of malnourished children in the province.
