FM attends 20th Nordic-African Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Algeirs

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, is attending the 20th Nordic-African Foreign Ministers' Meeting (NAFM) in Algiers, from October 16 to 18.

The forum is an interactive high-level political platform that brings together foreign ministers from many African countries with their Nordic counterparts to reflect on a number of regional and continental issues of interest. These include, in particular the issue of education in Africa, the promotion of the peace and security agenda in Africa, the consolidation of multilateral cooperation to address the many challenges facing the African continent, as well as ways to foster the African-Nordic partnership and increase Nordic investment in the continent, reads a press release from the Foreign Ministry.

On this occasion, Nabil Ammar will hold bilateral talks with his African and Nordic counterparts to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them.

Topics on the agenda of the event will also be discussed.
