Tunis: The first national vocational training forum will take place on May 21-22 in the City of Culture, the Employment and Vocational Training Ministry said. The forum is held as part of the implementation of Takween vocational training programme on the initiative of the Vocational Training Ministry, in partnership with the Swiss embassy in Tunisia and Swisscontact - a Swiss independent non-profit development organisation. It is designed to lay emphasis on the importance of vocational training as a pathway to success and excellence. The event is also an opportunity for youth to explore available opportunities in all sectors. Minister Lotfi Dhieb Thursday said at a working session on the progress of preparations for this forum there is need to step up coordination among all actors and esnure the availability of information on training opportunities in the punlic and private sectors.
