F.T.C.R launches participatory funding platform

The Federation of Tunisians for a Citizenship of the Two Shores (F.T.C.R.) recently launched a participatory funding platform as part of its efforts to enhance the role of the Tunisian community abroad in the social and economic development of Tunisia.

The platform is designed to highlight the federation's vision to help Tunisians abroad make an effective contribution to the development process and to the implementation of projects at local level and offer a participatory funding for associations in the country's various governorates, reads a F.T.C.R press release on Friday.

Two training sessions aimed at upgrading the skills of almost 30 associations were organised by the federation on September 22-28.

These sessions helped notably present the role and operating mechanisms of this platform with the support of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).

The F.T.C.R brings together associations from a wide range of activities and backgrounds, working to achieve citizenship by affirming their attachment to their country of origin and its culture.
