Addis Ababa: Ethiopian Delegation led by, Minister of Finance Ahmed Shide is attending African Development Bank Annual Meetings in Nairobi, Kenya. The meeting is underway at the Kenyatta International Conference Center from 27-31 May. The theme of the 2024 annual meetings is "Africa's Transformation, the African Development Bank Group, and the Reform of the Global Financial Architecture". Lack of climate finance for African priorities and the high cost of capital to invest in sustainable infrastructure for green growth and a just energy transition is also high on the agenda. Ethiopian Delegation led by Minister of Finance, Ahmed Shide is attending the meetings. Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya, General Bacha Debele, is also in attendance alongside the delegation. The Annual Meetings of AfDB provide an opportunity for reflection on the African Development Bank Group's commitment to accomplishing its mission of developing the African continent and improving the lives of its people.
