Ethiopian Airlines and the private Dashen Bank launched today a "Fly Now Pay Later (PNPL)" online credit payment service. Fly Now Pay Later is a travel arrangement whereby travelers make flights of their choice, the payment of which they can effect in different installments. The partnership enables eligible customers to travel first without paying a maximum amount of 600, 000 Birr and settle the payment six months or a year later, it was learned. During the launching of the travel arrangement, Ethiopian Chief Officer Lema Yadecha said the innovative alternative payment system developed by Ethiopian and the bank aligns with the digitalization efforts, further enhancing customer experience and fostering greater financial accessibility and inclusivity. Dashen Bank Chief Digital Banking Officer, Million Yohannes said the new service will benefit customers of both companies and contribute to the growing financial access demand and inclusivity in the country.
