Addis Ababa: Ethiopia aspires to building one political and economic community within the blessings of its diversity, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed remarked. The thirteenth Month of Pagume, which commemorates Ethiopia's transitional period, has been observed nationally under a variety of themes. Accordingly, today, September 9, 2024, (Pagume 4 in Ethiopian Calendar) is dedicated to commemorate 'Diversity Day,' with a number of activities that are essential to achieving inclusive nation-building initiatives. In a message posted on Social media this morning, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed indicated that Ethiopia is endowed with a number of nations, languages, cultures, beliefs, civilizations and heroes. Ethiopia is a diverse nation. All that we have is ours. We respect all of them. We are also proud of all of them, the premier underlined, stating that 'Our diversity is our feature and our unity is our existence.' These diversified blessings are found in Ethiopia.
