Entrepreneurship: Official launch of 1st application session of COINNOV fund

The first application session of the COINNOV fund was officially launched on Friday. The fund provides financial and technical support for collaborative research, development and innovation projects for Tunisian SMEs operating in industry or industry-related services, according to a press release published by the fund. With a total value of 1.5 million euros and an average of 30,000 euros (100,000 dinars) per beneficiary, COINNOV aims to support collaborative projects in partnership with private or public support structures, service providers or relevant clusters. This first application session follows the official announcement and signing of the reference documents at the press conference held on December 19 at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry. It also follows the first workshop to launch the activities of the COINNOV Fund, which took place in Tunis on January 12, 2024. To participate in this meeting, interested companies are invited to submit their applications Friday. The COINNOV Fund is part of the PACE-AMIT component of the Qualitative Growth for Employment (QGE) project, funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy (MIME).
