Social Affairs Minister Malek Ezzahi is leading the Tunisian delegation taking part in the 43rd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs at the ministerial level, due in Egypt on December 20-21, 2023. The session will focus on emergency humanitarian aid to Palestine and fight against multidimensional poverty. The agenda includes the preparation of the social file for the 33rd session of the Arab Summit to be held in Bahrain in 2024 and the preparation of the 5th session of the Arab Summit on Economic and Social Development to be held in Mauritania in 2024. Issues related to the fight against multidimensional poverty in Arab countries and the rights of people with disabilities will also be discussed as part of the sustainable development plan, as well as support for social projects in the Republic of Tunisia and the second Arab contract for people with disabilities 2023-2032.
