Education Minister takes part in ALECSO’s meeting of presidents of Arab education councils

Education Minister Mohamed Ali Boughdiri took part in a high-level meeting of presidents of Arab education councils held on Thursday at the headquarters of the Arab Organisation for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO), according to a statement from the ministry. Boughdiri, who is chairman of the National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, stressed that Tunisia has strategically invested in human resources and promoted the opening of Tunisian society to other countries in the world. He underlined Tunisia's commitment to international efforts to promote education, as demonstrated by its dedication to implementing the recommendations of the Transforming Education Summit. He recalled the launch of the national consultation on the reform of the education system and the Higher Council of Education, outlined in the new Constitution. Boughdiri stressed the importance of implementing a forward-looking strategy to ensure the development of the education sector, citing the "Future Tunisia School" pr oject launched by the Ministry of Education under the theme "A modern school above every hill".
