The Ecole Polytechnique of Tunisia (EPT) has officially been accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), said the Carthage University. The accreditation has taking effect since June 26 and will last for 10 years, the same source added. As such, the EPT has become the first public engineering school in Tunisia to be awarded this accreditation. ABET is a nonprofit, non-governmental organisation that accredits college and university programmes in the disciplines of applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology at the associate, bachelor's and master's degree levels.
