CNRD: MPs reach consensus on members of three permanent committees

Tunis: MPs of the National Council of Regions and Districts (French: CNRD) reached a consensus on the members of the three out of the six permanent committees. These are the Committee on Development Plans and Megaprojects (12 members), the Committee on Productive Sectors (10 members) and the Committee on Investment and International Cooperation (10 members). The voting operation continues for the election of members of the three other committees. They are elected, in accordance with the provisions of Article 44 of the council's internal regulations. These are the Services and Social Development Committee composed of 10 members, the Finance and Budget Committee composed of 12 members and the Internal Rules, Immunity and Legal Affairs Committee (10 members). Article 41 of the internal regulations provides for the formation of six permanent commissions within the CNRD. According to Article 44 of the same regulation, the Finance and Budget Committee and the Development Plans and Megaprojects Committee are comp osed of 12 members, the other committees are composed of 10 members.
