Cabinet meeting passes social bills and decrees

A cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nejla Bouden held on Tuesday at the Government Palace in Kasbah examined and adopted a series of social bills and decrees. These include a bill approving a memorandum of understanding on social security signed on November 20, 2022, between the Republic of Tunisia and Quebec. In addition, the cabinet meeting adopted a draft decree amending decree number 1224 dated August 10, 2012, relating to the application of the provisions of the 2012 supplementary finance law creating a specific social housing programme, and three draft decrees relating to the renaming of a higher education and research establishment (the Higher Institute of Applied Languages in Moknine, the Higher Institute of Computer Science and Communication Technologies in Hammam Sousse and the Higher Institute of Tourism Studies in Sidi Dhrif).
