The restoration of the stele at the northernmost point of the African continent in Ras Angela (Bizerte governorate) has been completed, local delegate Faisal Ajmi said on Friday.
The stele was vandalised by unknown assailants two months ago, causing public outrage as it is a site with an international dimension and a must-see for visitors to the region.
The local delegate urged the various sectors of society to preserve the site and its monument and to promote it as a local, national and international tourist attraction.
