BIZERTE: The 10th International Conference of Obstetrics and Gynecology is being held on June 7 and 8 in Bizerte at the initiative of the Association of Reproductive Health and the Tunisian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (STGO). Chairman of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the Habib Bougatfa University Hospital, Mechaal Mourali, pointed out «this event has become an annual tradition which sheds light on obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive health. It is attended by physicians from North Africa, France, Switzerland and Belgium.» She added that the inaugural programme reviewed surgical techniques of the endometriosis and discussed the reduction of obstetric and gynecological violence, vaginal delivery, cesarean delivery and congenital organ malformations of genitals. An 8-hour endometriosis surgical procedure was carried out, Thursday, by a Swiss medical team, in addition to the organization of outpatient consultations.
