Addis Ababa: Ethiopia's Foreign Minister Taye Atske Selassie underscored that the transition from the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) should not lead to a huge uncertainty and chaos in the Horn of Africa. 'Let us be clear that ATMIS transition should not lead to a huge uncertainty and chaos in the Horn of Africa,' Foreign Minister Taye posted on X. The minister added more importantly it should not undermine the hard won gains against the most dangerous and perilous regional and international terrorists groups. In its statement, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated tonight that Ethiopia is vigilantly monitoring developments in the Horn of Africa region that could threaten its national security.
