Future cooperation programmes between the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries and the European Corporate Council on Africa and the Middle East (ECAM) were the focus of a meeting between Minister of Agriculture, Abdelmonem Belati, and Secretary General of ECAM, Ettore Sequi. On this occasion, Belati stressed that the training of young managers was one of his department's priorities, to strengthen their capacities and train them to boost the profitability of this field of activity. For his part, the Committee's Secretary General took note of the new training programme aimed at young Tunisians working in this sector. ECAM is chaired by Tunisian businessman Kamal Ghribi, who is also Chairman of the Board of GKSD Holding pour l'Investissement and Groupe Hospitalier San Donato. ECAM's approach is to create a world in which the main pillars of society, notably health and education, are not seen as burdensome sectors, but rather as areas ripe for investment.
