Addis Ababa Mayor Shares Food Items With 500,000 Residents As Part of ‘Diversity Day’

Addis Ababa: Addis Ababa Mayor, Adanech Abiebie shared food items with 500,000 low income residents of the city on the occasion of 'Diversity Day.' The thirteenth Month of Pagume, which commemorates Ethiopia's transitional period, has been observed nationally under a variety of themes. Accordingly, today, September 9, 2024, (Pagume 4 in Ethiopian Calendar) is dedicated to commemorate 'Diversity Day.' As part of the day, Mayor Adanech has shared food items with 500,000 low income residents of the city this morning. Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor stressed the need to enhance collaboration to tackle our shared challenges. ''Today on the occasion of Diversity Day, we share not only food but also togetherness and love.'
