Minister of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly Amel Belhaj Moussa, Friday, had a meeting in Budapest, on the sidelines of the 5th Demographic Summit, with Bahrain's Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amna Hamad Al-Rumaihi.
The meeting shed light on ways to boost cooperation between Tunisia and the Kingdom of Bahrain in the fields of family policies as well as the economic and social empowerment of young girls and women.
The meeting, which reiterated the importance of social housing programmes and their contribution to ensuring stability for low-income families, was attended by Tunisian Ambassador to Hungary Abdelkarim Alharmi.
The 5th Demographic Summit is being held on September 14-16 in Budapest, Hungary under the theme of "Family is the key to security."
